Peter Lind & Company is a private building contractor of Danish origin based in Central London with operating centres at Spalding in Lincolnshire & Barnsley Yorks.

History

The Company was founded by Peter Lind, a Danish engineer, in 1915.[1]

During World War II the company was a significant builder of Mulberry Harbours.[2]

Major construction projects undertaken by the company have included Waterloo Bridge in London (completed in 1945)[3] and the BT Tower in London (completed in 1964).[4]

Operations

The company continues to carry out construction operations in London and throughout the U.K. The London division has a Private Clients arm aimed at the bespoke fit out market, this is featured in the Channel 5 TV series "Superior Interiors".
